Andy rocks…Give him a little push and he is overcome with an infectious joy that sends him rocking with laughter. His chuckle will overtake you as it does him. Try as you might, you can’t topple him. Happiness is his to hold and he accepts what fate offers with nothing but good cheer. He knows the value in laughing everyday and in sharing his joy with others. He concerns himself with delight and joy and on occasion, will bust out in a snigger so alarmingly full of life and love that you can’t help but laugh with him.

Bernie is just a happy little guy, twirling in a dance of delight, marveling at the beauty all around him. Give him a little push and it sends him spinning around and round. On occasion he may topple, but he quickly sets himself right and continues with his merriment and play. So full of life and love, he just wants to bust out in a jig of sheer joy.

Bert has a quite acceptance about him. He knows how it feels to fall flat on his face but has faith that each day begins anew, and with great resilience, he picks himself up and begins again. He knows each sunrise brings new promise. The cracks, the deep grooves and the stain on his face tell his story. He’s fought a hard-won battle but emerged a resilient, compassionate, loving being that knows the value of keeping his mouth shut tight ~ “into a closed mouth, no bug can fly”

Big Louie is one of the largest Rocknoggins, he stays put and offers strength and support, when the whole world seems to walk away ~ he holds the coarse. Both in the good times and bad, he’ll be by your side. You can lean on him. You can sit on him….you can count on him to be that rock solid friend that we all hope for and hope to be.

Biscuit: full to bursting, bulging and billowy…one might think a little soft around the edges, but don’t let this fool you - he’s tough and resilient despite the challenges and pressures that life has brought him. He’s been stepped on, sat on, and generally kicked around, but he’s still smiling despite it all.

Bob definitely enjoys just sitting back and watching as time passes. We all see someone we know in Bob. His familiar presence puts us at ease and we welcome his unimposing company in our lives. You can’t go wrong with Bob, he’s comfortable, friendly and easy to love.

Boris, designed to sit on the edge of a mantle or table.
He’s perched on the edge of life, watching, waiting, observing the ways of the world. He’s waiting for just the right time to hurl himself towards his destiny. The right push may send him toppling in a free fall, so be sure to anchor him securely.

He’s a quiet participant who’s found a great inner peace by embracing the moment, allowing others to live their life as they choose and not fretting over the inconsequential. This is one chillin’ frog. Content to wait for his moment in the sun, he seemingly holds his breath in his reverence for coolness. His time will come and there is really no rush for the push to the rays. Available in many different finishes. From dark to light, every bullfrog turns out unique.

Chuckles is flat out having a good time! On occasion he simply can’t control himself and he rolls with laughter. He’s found happiness in just being alive and his perpetual laugh brings lightness to all that see him. He can rekindle your inner spirit with just a glance.

The interactive Rocknoggin. You can actually make this one smile, or laugh by degrees, depending on your mood. Named after Dawn’s Irish grandfather who had a big belly laugh, this one is near and dear to our hearts! Good for a patio or indoors, he makes a wonderful conversational piece.

Cyclopse: he only has an eye for you…one of the smallest Rocknoggins and an interesting and comical character that makes a perfect gift for just about anyone.

Dama means soul or spirit and is thought to bring good fortune and happiness to any home. It was originally inspired by a Japanese welcome doll called Daruma. Traditionally in Japan, it is placed at the entrance of your home, inside or out and is thought to bring good fortune and happiness to all... Dama has an undaunted spirit of sheer joy.

Meaning: Elf wise friend. He is one of the smallest Rocknoggins and the friendliest. He’s unassuming and can fit comfortably on a desk or hangout in the garden. One of the most naturalistic Rocknoggins, he looks to have been found with that mug. He makes a great friendship gift with his happy demeanor and wise expression. His face says it all, "I know you and appreciate who you are".

Flat-top Otis has the perfect noggin for holding just about anything: a rock, plant, coffee cup, or even an apple for target practice. You can entertain yourself by placing endearing objects on his head but you won’t faze him – he’s a tough nut to crack! He’ll ably carry your load but only with mocked amusement and a self effacing quip, “I’m thrilled!” He’s a good one to have around as a reminder to lighten-up and enjoy your life!

Guido, an Italian Mafioso, has that wiseguy demeanor, but his overall countenance is warm and delightful. He’s been face down in the gutter, but he’s resilient and he knows that in this life, he who laughs longest, laughs last. He’s got that "ba-da-boom" attitude because he has learned that life can be short and that you must treat everyone you meet, friend or enemy, loved one or stranger, as if it were your last meeting — because in this business you never know. He never takes life too seriously because he knows you never get out alive.

Despite his rather commanding name‚ Gustaf has a very meek demeanor and a warm and caring heart. He holds his head up high‚ rapt in attention as he silently listens to the world around him‚ knowing that much knowledge is gained in silence. Confide in him and he won’t ever divulge your secrets. He’s a gentle and caring companion who will faithfully listen to you‚ with never a judging thought.

Hair-lip McCoy: Born with a perpetual crooked grin and a good nature that most can’t resist. He has a fondness for all he meets; but his accepting, undemanding appearance is often mistaken for a gullible stupor. It’s of no worry to him as he’s learned to accept himself just the way he is. On occasion he might catch you off guard with a wit so wry, you might ask for sourdough…this one is worth keeping.

Haus is the big honcho, the big kahuna, the big cheese. Rightly so, he’s the man in charge and he demands respect. He has a cantankerous air about him that tells people, "Don’t mess with me!", but his bark is definitely worse than his bite. Under that great big, imposing mustache is a caring, kind, loving soul that would do anything for anybody. One only has to look past the facade to see his true nature. Those that truly know him, love him dearly.

Hobbs, a suspected curmudgeon, is really just a kind hearted guy who has been a little disenchanted by the turns of the world. He loves mankind and his high standards and expectations have left him disappointed in the mediocrity he sees around him. Don’t hold his seemingly bitterness against him, for it is just an unconscious ploy at covering his vulnerability. Beneath his, somewhat "crusty", gruff exterior lies the most kind-hearted, loving individual you have ever met. His hidden gifts are worth waiting for.

Hugh, a.k.a. Hubert, a.k.a. Hugubert has a warm and loving spirit. His nose is pressed and wrinkled on one side, from all the hugs he gives out and he leans to the side to offer more of his affections. He is humble and generous with his love and can always lift your spirit with just one hug.

Jimmy-the-Nose, a member of the Italian Mafioso, used to work with the likes of Guido and Eddie Galante. He’s got that wise guy ‘ba-da-boom’ attitude because he’s suffered a few hard knocks in his day. His slightly disproportionate schnoz has been in the line of a punch or two and he’s learned you have to be tough in this business of life. He’s tough but wise and knows first hand - it’s not how you look or what’s on the surface, but what’s inside a guy that matters. Jimmy has proven his mettle and he’s got a nose for trouble….he’s the guy you want watching ahead and behind.

Luscious is one aggressive Bullfrog. He’s a little fed up with the world and is taking a stance against people who mess with him. He has no patience or words left to share, only an “in your face” stance that says, “back off”…and, if that’s not enough, he sticks his tongue out to further seal the deal. He’s a prime candidate for anger management classes but he’s accepting NO council at the moment.

Magoo is a happy little Irish man who literally can’t see past his nose. It’s of no mind to him though, as he attracts the little children who put all imaginable accoutrements in his nose. On rare occasions, if you listen very carefully, you can hear a faint little Irish snigger ring out.

Manic max is flat-out wired! He is so full of energy, ideas and passion, that he can’t quite contain himself. The wheels are always turning and he’s always ready to live, learn, love, and create the most grandiose dreams. Some call him ‘high-strung’, others see only chaos, but this one has gifts in him, the likes of which will, undoubtedly - wire you!

Mario is a humble companion. He has faced many challenges in this life and from those hardships he’s gained a humbleness beyond nobility. He’s realized: “Humility is the only certain defense against humiliation”

Through his trials, Mario has gained compassion for all he meets and he’s realized that there is no growth in solitude but through friendship, one can gain immeasurable insights and treasures. He’s a true friend that will go the distance with you and be at your side through thick and thin, good and bad, right or wrong, fault and flaw.

He has been stepped on one too many times, but there is still a calmness about him — a coolness that tells you that in the face of adversity, you must sometimes wait out the storm, and all will turn out for the best. He has been pressed down by the weight of the world. His senses wrapt into a half sleep, he dreams of a better world of peace and contentment. Adversity has redefined his image, but he knows, as the Chinese proverb says, "to get through the hardest journey, we need take only one step at a time, but we must keep on stepping".

Olga’s slightly persnickety sneer shouldn’t be mistaken for contempt or disdain. On the contrary, which she often is, she suffers from the acute inability to be apathetic toward her fellow comrades. Her weakness isn’t judging - it’s loving! Her “vice is Advice” and she’s learning to keep her mouth pinched in a pucker, remembering her less than perfect purity.

Pierre, sometimes mistaken as the arrogant Frenchman, is actually quite down to earth and humble. His heritage has brought him pride and sophistication, but life has taught him humility and compassion. He’s learned that no wealth or treasure surmounts the value of good friends and appreciates the importance of all those who have touched his life…“Ma cherie, I believe zee Americans pronounce zat word ‘appiness

Porter is a portly soul. He looks as if he’s swallowed one too many flies in his day, but never his pride. He stands his post with great smugness never giving into the threat of a fall. He holds his stomach, as his convictions, with great effort, resisting the world’s gravitational pull to let go.

He’s a great visitor to your garden as a reminder of the paradox in pride: “it makes some men ridiculous, but prevents others from becoming so.” ~ Charles Caleb Colton

Perhaps unfairly, Rodney has been known to be a little cantankerous and contrary. Like Oscar Wilde’s description: “I have met a lot of hardboiled eggs in my time, but you’re twenty minutes” - Rod is a little overdone…But don’t let his spiteful, judging expression fool you; somewhere buried deep below the hardened surface is a gregarious, fun-loving, deeply spirited man, the likes of which will leave you rolling on the floor with laughter and warm your heart.

Rudy’s warmth is unmistakable. When you need a hug and a warming of your spirits - Rudy is the one! He’s unimposing and kind and offers love and kindness to anyone that needs a chum. Embrace him with both hands and you will feel a rekindling of your spirits and be overcome.

Russell is like a cairn or trail marker on life’s unmarked trail. He’s a stoic companion that will wait for you when you get lost and mark the path when you’re ready to pick up the pace, once again. He’s remarkably warm and understanding and knows that sometimes, you just need a silent companion and a stepping stone to get you on your way. He knows, as the Chinese proverb says, "to get through the hardest journey, we need take only one step at a time, but we must keep on stepping."

Shish-ka-noggin is the very first Rocknoggin. The original was created long ago in another life and time…before Dawn’s pivotal move into sculpting full time. Simon means, "one who hears" He listens to the world around him and takes in all the glorious gifts that silence has to give. He keeps secrets whose truths cannot be revealed. He is content to hold his tongue because he knows that wisdom grows from silence, that silent contemplation gives up truths and that before wisdom arrives, there is silence.

In the path of life, Steppin-out Stanley is the stable, stoic friend you need. He will hold you up in your climb, take the weight of whatever is slowing your pace, or simply be a rest stop for you to sit when the going gets tough.

The Brit is an international character, who keeps that stiff upper lip through adversity, difficulty and calamity. He remains resolute and stoic through life’s challenges. There’s no use in boohooin’, just synch up your knickers and move on - this one is no whinging pommy.

Notorious for being heisted from a home and garden show this summer, he is well known around these parts. He is easily carried and puts some attitude in any environment. A sought after noggin and perfect gift for anyone who isn’t too gullible or naïve.

Thurston G. is a big jovial, teddy bear of a guy. Everyone he meets is a friend and he sees the gifts and good in all. A comical choice that is a nice surprise in a planter or on a desk — very unexpected. Definitely a must-have for someone who has everything.

Walter, a backstreet brawler with a tough, wise-guy accent, seems to be taunting us with his, “you talkin’ to me?” expression…and, “give it your best shot” challenge. He’s a tough guy who has met many a punch, head-on. He can take a hit and he’s got a phantom uppercut that will seemingly come from nowhere and catch you off guard. This is the one to have by your side if you want to keep trouble away!

Wayne has seen a lot of disappointment in his life and fate hasn’t always been kind to this unsuspecting character. He’s learned to accept what life hands him. He’s adopted the motto‚ “whatever” and silently accepts what comes his way. He’s realized that some things simply cannot be changed and to find happiness in this world‚ he must accept the unchangeable as “what is”‚ and somehow find opportunity where once‚ only obstacles seemed to be.

Easy going‚ jiving to his own tune. He’s got melodies floating in and out of his head and you readily fall under the spell of his melodic humming. You are at once entranced by the slow easy rhythm of his groove. He has a peaceful‚ easy air about him that makes you want to sit back‚ relax and listen to his tune.

He’ll take all your worries away. He stands like a guard at your entrance protecting your home or in the garden like a warden on call. He has the austere presence of a major-general as he stands upright and official awaiting your call

Yasu means calm, peaceful, serenity.

His mind is absolutely quiet as he exists in the moment - feeling the sensation of the breeze, the warmth of the sun, smelling the fragrance of the earth and all that surrounds him. This present sense creates the feeling of floating and rising up into the air, casting off all worries and strain. Just by sharing his company, an unbound calmness envelops you, giving you a sense of lightness and ease. He pulls from you a sense of peace and offers you an affirmation:

Z is the epitome of cool! A bit of an enigma, he is delightfully unpredictable. Is he whistling or is it a reluctant kiss? Some have said sleeping, others singing... Whatever you see in him, you can’t deny his charm and polished, ultra-cool demeanor.
